I had a great day on the water with Joel and his wife Sam same from the Chicagoland area. It was a blustery day which made casting a bit of a challenge for this couple who are experienced fishermen.Nonetheless they fished hard and caught a total of twenty-five smallies and a kicker 22″ walleye. More smallmouths are showing up in the Little Pigeon River which is evident by how well they did today. Sam caught a “Citation Smallmouth” that measured 20″ on the nose and weighed 3 lbs. 11 oz. A picture of Sam proudly displaying that trophy smallie is included in this report.
