It was a cold and blustery day on the Little Pigeon River with Christopher and Will from SE Ohio. The smallies didn’t seem to mind the nasty weather as they continued to make their prespawn run. They caught a total of 47 smallies in six hours of fishing.The majority of the fish were in the 17″ to 19″ range. Will came in with the big fish of the day that was 19 ½” long and weighed 3 lbs. 9 oz. A picture of Christopher with a handsome “barred-up” smallie is included in this report.
