I decided to spend some time fishing for stripers below Melton Hill Dam. I was told from a reliable source that the annual movement of stripers from Watts Bar Lake up the Clinch River had started. I managed to catch this 9 lb. striper drifting a medium-sized gizzard shad downstream from the dam.
