The river was high enough today with the recent rain that I was able to again fish some water further upstream that I only get a handful of opportunities to guide on during this time of year. Ben from Oakridge, TN found the smallies to be cooperative during this eight hour trip. The fish were running a little bit smaller today than they did in that same section of the river yesterday. He caught 36 smallies with many of the fish between sixteen and eighteen inches. Ben had such a good time that he scheduled a second River Smallie Adventures trip for May 2.
