I had an enjoyable afternoon on the French Broad River with Mark and his fourteen year old son Seth. They are from Pennsylvania on vacation in the Pigeon Forge area. Mark said that they were novice fishermen and wanted to learn more about fishing and the techniques I use here in East Tennessee. Both were fast learners and after a few drifts we were able to locate the fish and then it was game on. They caught 31 fish during their four hour trip. The majority were white bass, skipjacks, and a few walleyes. The action was fast and furious which included several double hook-ups. A picture of one of those “doubles” with a walleye and a white bass is included in this report. Mark and Seth were very teachable and a couple of great guys to guide.
