We fished both the Chippewa and Flambeau Rivers today. Got a late start and fished from around 3 pm until sunset. Caught a total of 24 smallies. We haven’t caught many small fish in the 8-12″ range over the past week but we did today. It is always good to see a lot of fish in that size range. Gives you hope that fishing in the years to come may be productive. No four pound fish today, but Cindy did catch a healthy 3 lb. 4 oz smallie on the Flambeau.
